Instructions for Opening a Utility Account

The City of LaBelle provides water, sewer and trash services, these services are available to residential and commercial customers, depending upon whether they are inside or outside of city limits. Please contact our office for more information.

*Accounts must be set up in person at City Hall*

To set up a Residential utility account, you must provide the following:

  • Proof of ownership (i.e., warranty deed) / Lease agreement (all documents must be signed)
  • Driver’s license/Photo ID
  • Deposit: (deposit amount will depend on the services provided for the property and must be paid in cash or a money order only.

To set up a Commercial utility account, you must provide the following:
  • Signed lease agreement or proof of ownership.
  • Driver's License/ Photo ID
  • Local Business License or Active Sunbiz
  • Business card (if one is available)
  • Letter of authorization for the person who will be handling this account along with a copy of their DL
  • Deposit (TBD based on services provided)
New Construction account setup:
  • After all permits have been paid, please contact our office for Impact/Connection Fees.
Temporary Meter Request:
  • Provide location of Fire Hydrant
  • Site Managers DL/ Photo ID
  • Deposit (TBD)
Disconnect Request information needed:
  • Date of disconnection / New mailing address(You can come into the office or e-mail us the information)

To make utility payments customers may:
Come into City Hall, night deposit (located in our drive-thru), mail, online or by phone.
* (All online and telephone payments will incur an additional service fee)
* Online payments require a pin number which we can provide to you.

Online payments will be credited to your account on the following business day.

Acceptable payment methods are:
Cash, check, money order, ACH, and debit/credit cards.
* (Debit/credit cards will incur a service fee of 2.95% of the bill total)
